EXHIBITION: Platform 2015

Platform is an annual award designed to nurture new artistic talent by selecting and exhibiting work from art school graduates from the south east of England, providing support through the critical period between graduation and life as a professional artist.

Susannah Canning (Oxford Brookes University) has created a new audio walk in response to Modern Art Oxford. In her role as the absent guide, Canning escorts the visitor through a series of sound recordings, re-enacting the past in the present.

Piers Faccini and Vincent Segal met in Paris in the late 1980s and have been collaborating ever since. Using voice, guitar and cello – and in a variety of languages from Neapolitan dialect to Creole – their music brings together original compositions, traditional songs and covers.

Peter Care at O3 Gallery

Care began his artistic career as a ceramicist working in porcelain. In the late 1980s, he moved to Holland and for a twenty year period, exhibiting mainly in Holland and Germany. It was during this time that Care began working primarily as a painter. O3 Gallery present recent works by Care.
