Giant Jamboree Sneak PeakWith the Jamboree only 5 weeks away we wanted to share with you some exciting updates on the event. Here is just a bit of what you can expect.

Giant Jamboree Workshops: We have planned an exciting list of workshops for the 2017 Giant Jamboree. Hear from leading experts in academia and industry on the latest technologies, trends, and themes in synthetic
biology. Adding Parts & Submitting Samples Adding a part to the Registry is quick and easy, but it is just the first step. Documenting and characterizing your part is vital to its continued use by Registry users. A well documented part will be used in new composite parts, new systems, and new team projects. Learn more by visiting: http://parts.igem.org/Help:Document_PartsDon't forget! This year, the iGEM Parts Registry will also freeze alongside the team wikis on November 1, 11:59PM EDT. Don't wait till the last minute to add and document your parts!
Teams are also required to submit samples to the Registry to meet medal/award criteria. Please take a look at the requirements for part submission page here: http://parts.igem.org/Help:Submission. Part submissions must be shipped by the October 27 , 11:59PM EDT deadline and include a tracking number.
