CWC San Francisco-Peninsula Branch  Newsletter November 2015

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE – NOVEMBER 2015

Hello again SF/Peninsula Writers,

We are in our third month in our new home (Belmont Congregational Church), but a great new home it is!  Last month during our General Meeting, our members were the greatly pleased recipients of trays of chocolates as the Chocolate Festival was under way in our ‘main’ meeting room.  (And, this is not to undercut the dynamic speaker for the day, who was marvelous.)  During this coming General Meeting on November 21st, we will be offering a special event.  It is a half-day seminar with renowned Karma Bennett, the Guru Queen of Social Media, who will join us during our regularly scheduled meeting and then carry us into the afternoon (along with lunch) for those who sign up ahead of time.  Please check out the flyer here and make your plans right away!  Sign up through PayPal, or send in your check to the included address.

You might like to know your Board will be meeting this coming week-end to work out the finer points of our year’s calendar of events.  We are looking forward to bringing you more great speakers, more programs in and outside of the regularly scheduled meetings, more opportunities for writers to work on their own genres and . . . and we are planning a very special event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of our Branch.  Want to be a part of this vibrant crew?  Just let us know where/how you would like to volunteer, as we have some very exciting times a-coming!!     Warmly, Carole Bumpus

For our November Meeting, here is our speaker:  Karma Bennett

Be sure to sign up for this special event:
