As if that wasn’t enough, Iowa also was hit by a devastating derecho storm. So the OVPR Compliance units are back in 2020 to host a virtual Science Thursday event, focusing on survival during an emergency. Try our activities and see how much you know about survival, research compliance, and even good old Iowa! Win prizes related to survival!

Activities include Compliance Crossword Puzzle, Survivalist Bingo, and Bling Your Face Covering Contest. There are great prizes to be won, all relating to emergency preparedness. This year, you have extra time to do the activities and submit them for prizes. All entries are due by September 10, 2020, by emailing to sciencethursday-vpr@uiowa.edu.
