Thanks For An Awesome AX Season!

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out and autocrossed with us this last year. There were a TON of new faces out there, and plenty of returning ones as well.

We understand this year was a tough one for a lot of us, the loss of our two long standing venues really put us in panic mode. Thankfully, Spooky Nook was willing to work with us, and it turned into a very successful season for the Susquehanna Region SCCA.

So once again, thank you bearing with us, and thank you for coming out to have #funwithcars and the Susquehanna Region! Our season points, as well as individual event results can be found at the links below.

We both hope to see you all at a meeting, or at the very latest, the banquet.

The End Is Here

    As much as I hate to say it, the end of our season is quickly coming to an end with the last event being held at the Farm Show Lot this Saturday October, 19th.  The battle is too close to call for a few classes and those drivers are going to have to bring their “A” game if they want to secure the year end trophy and bragging rights until next season.  The weather is looking nice for the weekend, but on the chilly side with a forecasted high of 64°F so make sure to layer up!

    On a different note, I would like to ask that everyone help keep things moving smoothly at this event by ensuring that you have your vehicle numbers on both sides when you go through tech inspection including the leading 0 if you use one.  Make sure that the numbers, even if they’re tape, are easy to read to ensure you get all of your times (and penalties) and someone else doesn’t end up with them.  

I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday to battle it out in the dirt!

TRSS Is Less Than Two Weeks Away!

I STILL NEED YOUR HELP!

Susquehanna’s second 2019 school for Tire Rack Street Survival is two weeks away, and I'm putting another call out for help.  This event requires a lot of coordination, so if any of you are able to help me, please let me know via email or through Facebook.

This is going to be a great way to give back to the community, and help make some teens safer out on the road.  If you're interested in coaching, and you haven't gotten your certification yet, you can go here and take the course.  It takes about 45 minutes, and you'll get a certificate when you're finished.  The certificates are emailed to Tim Beechuk, but if you can email me at streetsurvival@scca-susq.com, so I know you're certified, that would be great.

October Regional Meeting

Tuesday, October 29th • 7:00 p.m.

October 29th's meeting will be held at a different location this month. We're going to meet at Cordier Auctions, 1500 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104  (the building that shares the parking lot with Alan's shop, Auto Seat Cover).

Because this isn't a restaurant, we're going to be getting dinner, so if you can respond to this event so we can get accurate food counts, that would be greatly appreciated. We'd also appreciate a small donation (like 10 bucks a person) for food. The meeting will be BYOB, so feel free to bring your own adult beverages to enjoy while we're meeting.
