To do this, the Department of Social Services are reviewing the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (the NDIS Act). The review will help DSS to develop a new set of standards known as the NDIS Participant Service Guarantee (the Guarantee), to be introduced by mid-2020. Once the Guarantee is implemented, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will need to make decisions about people’s plans within the timeframe set by the Guarantee. This means people will know how long the NDIA will take to make a decision about their supports. The survey is designed for NDIS participants or people who
provide care and support for NDIS participants. The Survey is available in a variety of formats to support people with disabilities.
