Like you, we've been closely watching the COVID-19 developments and the advice for small businesses like ours. The good news for our dancers is that we're still open, but there's a few changes we're going to make in our classes. Private lessons will be continuing as normal. Please either email Michael or give him a call to book your spot. Here's what we're doing- From Monday, we'll be limiting the number of dancers on the floor at any time to ensure a 1-2 metre distance can be maintained between each of you. Depending on the size of your class, it might mean rotating dancers throughout the hour.
- Unless you're a couple, you'll be dancing as individuals. You'll still be getting great exercise and learning the steps, and you'll be developing and improving your balance.
- We're continuing to disinfect surfaces at the end of each evening, ready for the following night's classes.
- There's hand sanitiser and plenty of soap available for everyone to use.
Here's how you can help- If you've just returned from overseas, please make sure you are following national directions and self-isolating for 14 days.
- We
have alcohol-based hand sanitiser beside the drinking fountain in the studio, and there's soap in both bathrooms for you to wash your hands - still the best defence against the spread of bacteria.
- While we'd love to see you, please stay at home if you are at high risk. Similarly, if you're feeling unwell, take time to beat those bugs at home.
Keep up-to-dateIf you're not already, we'd encourage you to keep up-to-date via the Unite Against COVID-19 website. That's what we are doing to ensure we're taking all steps necessary as a responsible small business owner. Take care dance family!
