Prepare for Semester Start

  • Visit the Faculty Quickstart guide to explore Academic Technology resources.
  • Request your Canvas course and upload your syllabus at coursetools.brown.edu.
  • Ask for help! Consult with ITG for in person support.
  • Schedule a classroom orientation session to get familiar with the installed technology for teaching on campus: email media_services@brown.edu.

ITG is coming to you with our first ever Canvas Pop-Up events in the lobbies of academic buildings across campus January 23-January 25.  No need to sign up in advance!  Locations and dates are:

  • Wednesday, January 23, 11am-1pm: Barus and Holley 
  • Thursday, January 24, 11am -1pm Friedman Hall
  • Friday, January 25, 9:30 am-11:30 am: Smith-Buonanno 
 
 
 
 

Try a new tool for grading and feedback 

Looking to save time and energy when grading assignments? We are piloting Gradescope, an application that makes the grading and feedback process more efficient. Interested instructors should contact itg@brown.edu for more information.
