Hi there.

The summer holidays are almost over and we’ve had some fantastic successes with people going on holiday and aligning their health and fitness goals with their fun and relaxation goals. 

A few of my one-to-one nutrition clients have been on holiday and still maintained their weight. 

The main conversation we had before they went away was:

“I don’t care what your priority is - just let me know so we both know what to expect. 

No point going crackers with the nutrition and then being disappointed when you come back. 

If that’s what you are going to do then that’s cool. We just accept that’s how it is and then crack on when you get back. 

But, if you want to maintain then we can work out a plan”.

And, in a testament to their focus on their goals, that’s exactly what we did - worked out a plan to maintain their progress. 

And it still enabled them to have (I have gathered this list from them)

  • Vodka and coke
  • Magnums
  • Indian restaurant meal 
  • Tiramisu 
  • Prosecco
  • Lager
  • Ice cream 
  • Whopper with cheese in the airport on the way home 🙈😂 (800 cals) 
  • Toblerone

Star of the Season!

The Star of the Season for May-Sept has been decided and will shortly be announced. Our last (joint) winners, Treesje and Lorraine, have continued working hard, as have previous winners Natalie and Heidi.

How Long Should I Take to Achieve My Weight Loss Goal?

This is a common question and the answer, as always, has many considerations. 

Whenever I am working together with people on their nutrition we always discuss the following: 

  • Making sure the weight goal and the body goal are aligned. 
  • Making sure you don’t end up with too much excess skin (if the starting point is very obese).
  • Making sure it is sustainable.

So, bearing all that in mind, here is a rough idea of what it should take to achieve your goal weight. If you wanted to take it to an extreme I would suggest you could do it 40% faster and 100%+ slower but, from experience this is about right.

1-2-1 Nutrition Coaching

I’ve been getting a lot more enquiries about 1-2-1 nutrition coaching as people are seeing the results that our guys are getting. 

Put it this way, if Lorraine (who was already eating fantastically well and in brilliant shape) can achieve such amazing results with a few tweaks then imagine what everyone else can do!

It’s just a case of working together and doing what it takes. I’m not a magician and I can’t do the impossible but I can achieve a help people to achieve realistic but dramatic results in reasonable time.
