The summer holidays are almost over and we’ve had some fantastic successes with people going on holiday and aligning their health and fitness goals with their fun and relaxation goals. A few of my one-to-one nutrition clients have been on holiday and still maintained their weight. The main conversation we had before they went away was: “I don’t care what your priority is - just let me know so we both know what to expect. No point going crackers with the nutrition and then being disappointed when you come back. If that’s what you are going to do then that’s cool. We just accept that’s how it is and then crack on when you get back. But, if you want to maintain then we can work out a plan”. And, in a testament to their focus on their goals, that’s exactly what we did - worked out a plan to maintain their progress. And it still enabled them to have (I have gathered this list from them)

So, bearing all that in mind, here is a rough idea of what it should take to achieve your goal weight. If you wanted to take it to an extreme I would suggest you could do it 40% faster and 100%+ slower but, from experience this is about right.
