Welcome back to what promises to be another big year for defence industry. Many in Defence will no doubt be watching Trump's inauguration speech tomorrow with interest, but the question of whether he will he actually do as he says will likely remain.

Our results for ADM's Top 40 Defence Contractors/Top 20 Defence SMEs have shown that 2016 was a record breaking year for the sector, with the Top 40 revenues clearing the $10 billion mark for the first time. Subscribers can receive a downloadable pdf of the listing by emailing Publisher Judy Hinz. The survey issue also features an exclusive interview with Defence Industry Minister Christopher Pyne.

In other news, BAE Systems prepares for F-35 airframe maintenance, there is still time to complete the defence industry capability assessment survey, and a KC-30A through life support contract has been signed.

ADM 2017 Congress in Canberra on 7th February is looming large and it's not too late to register. Minister Pyne will be attending and speaking at a welcome reception to be held on the evening preceding the main event. For more information and to register go to our website,
