Virtual Common Fence Point Tour

October 7th, 2020

Preregistration required

Join us for this virtual tour of Portsmouth's Common Fence Point neighborhood and learn about how this coastal community is facing issues of sea-level rise, flooding, stormwater, and invasive phragmites.

Residents and experts from the Coastal Resources Center/Rhode Island Sea Grant, the Coastal Resources Management Council, and Save The Bay will take attendees to four different sites on the peninsula, discuss concerns, and talk about actions residents can take to help address them. These issues can be found in many areas along Rhode Island's coast, so participants from around the state and beyond are invited to attend.

Wednesday, October 7th, 2020
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This event is also sponsored by the CFP Preparedness Committee. For more information: cfp-prep@commonfencepoint.org
