Welcome to an early edition of ADM's Defence Week Premium newsletter this week given the Australia Day holiday tomorrow. Editor Katherine Ziesing has some great news about the Avalon airshow and Australian F-35s and outgoing US Defense Department chief buyer Frank Kendall has some sage words of advice for the new Trump administration and indeed anyone associated with defence acquisition.

In other news the Victorian Government is getting behind local defence industry and Boeing proves new composite rotor blades for the CH-47F Chinook.

ADM 2017 Congress in Canberra on 7th February is less than two weeks away and it's not too late to register. Minister Pyne will be attending and speaking at a welcome reception to be held on the evening preceding the main event which will feature the usual premier line-up of top Defence and Government speakers. For more information and to register go to our website.
