The Modern Mayfair Garden
In celebration of the Royal Academy of Arts' landmark exhibition, Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse, Le Caprice
have partnered with Perrier-Jouët Champagne to bring a stunning, garden terrace and dining experience to St James's. The exhibition runs from 30 January to 20 April 2016 and sees Claude Monet's water lily paintings, the Agapanthus Triptych, brought to the UK and on show in Europe for the first time. For the duration of the exhibition, Le Caprice opens its terrace, redesigned in partnership with Perrier-Jouët, as a beautiful modern city garden. The 'Modern Mayfair Garden Experience' offers a two course menu, designed in keeping with the garden theme, and a ticket for the exhibition, sponsored by BNY Mellon, at £38 per person. Diners will also be treated to a glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and receive a rose hand cream from Floris - a reminder that a day spent with art, Champagne, fine cuisine and the outdoors, will have everything coming up roses.

Daphne's Set Lunch from £21 |
We firmly believe that the Daphne's Set Lunch menu is South Kensington's best kept secret. Priced at just £21 for 2 courses, or £25 for 3, the menu changes every week to adapt to seasonal produce, and, what's more, to celebrate the end of dry January it includes a complimentary glass of wine throughout February. This week we recommend the Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with Truffles Cappelletti to start, followed by Roasted Fillet of Cod with Agretti, Shrimps and Mussels, and, to finish, Sicilian Orange and Almond Torta.

Hurrah for blood oranges! We love them in all their crimson coloured glory. An Italian favourite, you'll find them on the Daphne's menu when in season, in various guises. This month's recipe is for Panna Cotta with Blood Orange Compote.
