Forgotten High School Soldier Remembered

Harold Thorne Speares was a past pupil of The High School Dublin and only twenty years old only when he died in 1917, during the 3rd Battle of Ypres (Passchendaele).  His name should have been listed alongside The High School war dead on the Great War Memorial, but it was not.   This Remembrance Week, we remember this forgotten High School soldier.
