Microgrants Available for Chapters Through a partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), we're excited to announce microgrants for chapters, national working groups, and school gardens around World Food Day 2019. Tell us how you will localize World Food Day with an event or project that celebrates or otherwise highlights the central themes of World Food Day: zero hunger and access to healthy food for all. Microgrants are $250 and will be awarded in October. Apply here now! Applications are due on October 2nd. Decisions will be announced on October 7th.

Slow Food in the Tetons Farm to Fork FestivalSlow Food in the Tetons has partnered with Central Wyoming College for a day dedicated to food education and celebration. The Farm To Fork Festival on Oct. 5 is a family friendly, all-day event at the Center for the Arts to celebrate food,
farms and community. Come eat, learn and get inspired to create a healthier, more sustainable food system.
Call for participation for Indigenous Terra Madre – Peoples of the AmericasFrom February 21st - 24th, 2020, the Nahua indigenous community in Tlaola (Puebla – Mexico), will hold the first Indigenous Terra Madre for Peoples of the Americas. The goal of the meeting is to strengthen the Indigenous Terra Madre (ITM) network in the Americas, through meetings and exchanges, and build on the leadership capacities of indigenous youth and women to defend and promote their food heritage. Slow Food International and ITM are pleased to offer scholarships to international and Mexican delegates. Find out more about the process here. The deadline to apply is Oct. 15.
