As Defence Week Premium went to press today, the government announced that they have signed the design and mobilisation contract with DCNS to begin work on the Shortfin Barracuda. An announcement on the combat systems integrator role between Lockheed Martin and Raytheon will come out tomorrow, ADM understands.
