Sydney Children’s Hospital Network is seeking EOIs for a representative to join the Asthma Follow Up Project. The representative will provide expert advice and input into the development and implementation of the Asthma Follow up Project. GPs or practice nurses with relevant experience, who have a particular interest in shaping outcomes related to asthma management in children, are invited to submit an EOI. This forum will raise awareness and understanding of the importance of healthy relationships as we age. The forum will explore relationships, legal issues, abuse of older persons, domestic violence and managing stress and self care.

NSW Diabetes Taskforce community diabetes survey
The NSW Diabetes Taskforce Community Working Group has developed a survey to gather information from staff and clinicians providing services to people in the community with diabetes about key care components of diabetes management. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will close 16 August 2017. Click here to complete the survey
Education opportunity - Stepped Care and eMH in General Practice
In partnership with the Black Dog Institute, we will be hosting three workshops across our region on Stepped Care and eMH in General Practice. In the two hour workshop participants will be introduced to the concept of stepped care in mental health, specifically in the context of the way mental health problems present and are managed in primary care. The history and thinking behind the development of the stepped care model will be discussed, as well as the advantages of the approach for the patient and the mental health system generally. The workshops will be held at the following locations: - Randwick, Thursday 17 August 2017, 7.00 pm - 9.00 pm
