Raising the rainbow flag

Vice-Chancellor Professor Koen Lamberts will be raising the rainbow flag on campus today, in support of @YorkPride Join us near Central Hall from 1pm #yorkpride

Performance review consultation

We would like to thank everyone that has provided feedback on performance review as part of a consultation across the University. The feedback is now being collated and, where appropriate, acted upon and we shall release updated guidance and materials in June, ahead of the performance review period.

A separate communication will follow from Joss Ivory on Performance Review this week.

In A Nutshell

Designed to support individuals by increasing their awareness and understanding of key activities going on at an institutional level. We have had two very successful events, with over 80 people attending the Estate Masterplan alone.

Our next sessions will be covering:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Health, wellbeing and resilience
  • Employability strategy, KISS Data and York strengths

Deadline for Management in Action

Aimed at first time, first line managers / supervisors who are directly involved with day to day supervision and work allocation, the programme consists of four modules over five days.

Applications for the programme close 12 noon on Friday 8 Juneshould be sent to leadership-development@york.ac.uk by .

Professional@York forum

The themed forums are held once a term (three a year) and are an opportunity to bring support staff together to engage and network on key areas of organisational development.

The first forum is the 4 July 2018 and is on Health, wellbeing and resilience
