Announcing the School Restart Planning series

This special set of summer Collaboratives will help ensure you and your team are ready to keep your students safe and moving forward this fall

During July and August, City Forward Collective and TNTP will team up for a nine session series designed to support district/network- and school-level staff who are part of their school's restart planning team as they prepare for the 2020-21 school year. Each two-hour session will be grounded in City Forward Collective's Fall 2020 Planning Tool and will provide space for participants to learn, collaborate, and receive feedback.

Sessions:

• Academics and Instruction: Launching Restart Planning (1-3 p.m. July 7)
• Academics and Instruction: Acceleration and Diagnosing Unfinished Student Learning (1-3 p.m. July 9)
• Academics and Instruction Deep Dive: Adapting Your Scope and Sequence (1-3 p.m. July 14)
• Operations and Technology: Creating Schedules and Aligning Tech to Support (1-3 p.m. July 16)
• Operations and Talent: Aligning Staff to Your Model (1-3 p.m. July 21)
• Academics and Instruction Deep Dive: Virtual Learning (1-3 p.m. July 23)
• Whole Child Supports and School Culture: Supporting the Whole Student (1-3 p.m. July 28)
• Talent: Staff Development Through Virtual PD Support (1-3 p.m. July 30)
• Assessment, Data, and Accountability: Progress Monitoring (1-3 p.m. August 4)

These sessions are designed for educators and leaders working as part of a team at their school, network, or district to plan for fall. Multiple planning team members (up to five) may attend the sessions. At least one representative from the planning team must participate in each session.

Registration:

To register for the School Restart Planning series, complete the below steps. (Please note that the process for registering for the series is different from our usual registration process.)

1. Click here to register for the first session, from 1-3 p.m. on July 7.
2. Select the number of people on your planning team who will participate (up to 5)
3. Enter the contact info for your planning team's lead contact
4. Fill in additional information for the remaining members of your team
5. Completing this process will register you and your team for the entire series. Watch for Zoom links each Monday for the week's sessions.
