As Easter looms large and the PM recalls Parliament for an early April 18 sitting, it appears that no announcement wil be made on the Future Submarine Sea 1000 program before the forthcoming election, with the polling date now expected to be much earlier than originally planned.

However as ADM went to press today we do suspect an announcement in Canberra today on Land 400 Phase 2 and will keep you posted via our social media channels.

Otherwise ADM Editor Katherine Ziesing makes a comment on recent Senate Estimate hearings regarding the tender for the Navy's Replenishment Ships, with a passing reference to that great parody of political process, Yes Minister

Some options for land-based anti-ship missiles are considered and are small UAS really that much of a risk to commercial aviation?

ADM wishes you a happy and restful Easter break,

Patrick Durrant
