Due to the large decline in the use of cheques, we're following the banking sector to remove cheques as a method to receive or make payments from 28 May 2021.

FROM 28 May 2021 

• NBS will no longer accept cheque deposits (from any bank including NBS)
• You will no longer be able to use or accept cheques as a method of payment

We offer alternative options to receive and make payments that are faster and more secure than using cheques. If you require assistance with making the move to electronic payments, talk to us today.

Please destroy old cheque books
or drop them into your local NBS branch.
