Welcome to the first edition of NBS News No images? Click here Seasons Greetings from the CEOIt's been another busy year for your community bankers. A year that has been very rewarding for me personally as I settle into the new role as chief executive. I am very thankful to the excellent team we have at NBS who have enabled my transition to run smoothly. You can rest easy over the holiday period in the knowledge that NBS is performing well ahead of expectations and our commitment to the community is providing a really tangible source of new business opportunities. It's pleasing to see the members of the many clubs/societies NBS support are now choosing to bring their personal banking relationship to NBS. NBS has undertaken a review of our branding this year which has resulted in our new positioning statement 'banking for life' which we are delighted with. It really sums up what we want to be for our clients. We have recently launched a partnership with Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust which now has NBS branding on the nose. We are very proud to support this vital community service and our staff are totally engaged in this sponsorship. What can you expect from NBS in 2020:

NBS Brand ReviewEarlier this year we undertook a review of our brand. As NBS continues to grow and compete, it was important for us to reflect on the current marketplace and if needed, provide an updated image of NBS and how we want to be positioned. NBS is a provider of banking services meeting the needs of its customers, as well as having the flexibility to be responsive and make timely decisions based on relationships and local knowledge. 'Banking for life' is both a statement of what NBS offers and an aspirational promise. We hope it speaks to the exceptional service levels, of integrity and trust, and of course, it is deeply entrenched in the community it serves. This is NBS. This is banking for life. |
