No Images? Click here With four weeks to go until you join us, we thought this would be a good opportunity to explain what your college has to offer. As soon as you arrive in College, you will be greeted by Second and Third Year Contacts (STYCs) who have volunteered to make sure you receive a warm welcome. They are a good example of what colleges are all about, student-led communities. All colleges offer the opportunity to play sport, stand for election, volunteer (in the college and wider community), organise social events or just relax and socialise. All of this work is facilitated by the college team and your elected student committee. All college members elect, and are represented by, the Junior Common Room Committee. They have organised a warm welcome for you and will continue to organise events and support college activities throughout your time in college. “Goodricke and its community have been a massive part of my life from the moment I arrived at York. From organising Freshers’ Week, our Winter Formal, Goodfest, and so many more events, I’ve loved every aspect of this amazing college, and the dedicated team who manage it.” Stephen Stanley What should I be doing now?Pre-arrival surveyWe are keen to hear from you.
