What is your Vision for the Guelph Public Library? Please fill out a short survey to help the Library with their strategic planning process. Deadline is July 19, 2024.

Help Shape the Future of the Guelph Public Library
The Guelph Public Library needs your help identifying opportunities for the next five years (2025 to 2029) to inform and shape the library’s strategic direction. What is your vision for the Guelph Public Library? This is your chance to engage with the library to help them understand your needs and experiences, to tell the library what is working well and what could be improved along with helping to shape the future of Guelph Public Library services and collections. Your input into this process is critical as this is your community library! How can the library best support you going forward?

Please complete this short survey by July 19, 2024. It is available in several languages: English, French, Punjabi, Mandarin, Italian, Tagalog, Arabic and Vietnamese. Or drop by your neighbourhood library location to fill it out in person.

You are also invited to participate in-person during a public group engagement session to share your input and help shape the future of the Guelph Public Library!

Open Group Engagement Lab

Kid's Corner: Graphic Novels
What’s the hype over graphic novels? Last year, many graphic novels including the Dog Man and Cat Kid Comic Club series topped the circulation charts at the Guelph Public Library. Multiple chapter book series have recently been adapted into graphic novels such as the Magic Tree House, Baby-Sitters Club and the Wings of Fire series.

Graphic novels improve reading comprehension by presenting engaging material that improves visual literacy. These books are not just for kids either – graphic novels are great for teens and adults too! If you have an interest in graphic novels, be sure to check out the
