There were lots of things to do. We took turns on a stationery bicycle which generated enough electricity to power a light bulb. Then some of us made bird-feeders with recycled material. After lunch we spent some time visiting many of the stalls that were there. We wrote some tips on how to save water and filed a news report. We had such an enjoyable, fun day. BSTAI Competition at UCDUCD Business School with the Business Studies Teachers' Association of Ireland (BSTAI) hosted a Junior Certificate table quiz for Form 3 pupils on Tuesday night. The BSTAI is an association for all teachers of the Business Subjects in Irish post-primary schools. The High School competed against other schools from Dublin. A fun time was had by all. HSD PPU DonationMany thanks to HSD past pupil Robert (Robin) Cole who visited the school this week to donate his collection of rocks and fossils to our Geology Department. We were delighted to receive this generous donation from a past pupil. Lino Projects - The CityHere is a sample of reduction lino prints that some of our Form 3 pupils completed recently. Pupils used a method of block printing in which each layer and each colour is printed on top of the last. We are delighted with the results.
