VCHP volunteer open evening
|
Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP) is holding a volunteer open evening, 6.30pm-7.30pm on Monday 7 April, at their new Manchester centre and warmly welcomes the local and optical community to come and learn more about the charity.
Volunteer optometrists and dispensing staff, plus a clinic manager, are needed to run the unit, and the evening is an opportunity to find out how rewarding donating a few hours of professional time each month can be.
Located within the Cornerstone Day Centre, in Denmark Road, it is close to the heart of the city, and serves a significant homeless population. The new clinic is furnished with modern diagnostic technology, kindly donated by the optical community.
To confirm your place at the open evening and to find out more about volunteering email info@vchp.org.uk, or visit the VCHP website.
