PENNING YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT SERIES, PART 1
You will walk away with a solid draft of your college or scholarship essay after attending all sessions of our Personal Statement Three-part Series, led by NYU Clinical Associate Professor Susanna Horng! The first two workshops will focus on crafting your statement and small group feedback. During the last workshop of the series, you will work on revisions and edits one-to-one with a mentor. This workshop is open to the public but geared towards undergraduate and graduate school applicants.

SUMMER SALON SERIES: SPOKEN WORD POETRY WITH CYNTHIA AMOAH 
Cynthia Amoah is a spoken word artist and educator originally from Ghana. She  completed her MFA in poetry at The New School where she was cited for Excellence in Poetry and has been featured on the stages of The Lincoln Theater, TEDxDrewUniversity and TEDxOhioStateUniversity, among many. She has prepared a wonderful salon with a performance element!
