|
The Charter Signatory period for the Climate and Resilience Commitments is now open. To be included in these inaugural groups, a president or chancellor must sign the Climate Commitment by January 4, 2016, or sign the Resilience Commitment by April 22, 2016. Charter Signatories of the Climate and Resilience Commitments will be recognized on our website and in our publications. Become a Charter Signatory.

On October 4th and 5th, ten College and University Presidents and Chancellors joined Second Nature at Agnes Scott College for a two-day meeting to discuss climate leadership, and sign the newly-announced Climate Commitment. The attendees are part of a larger group of leaders that have pledged to sign this commitment. See more.

October brought Second Nature invigoration through a series of events that we were fortunate enough to lead and be a part of: the 2015 Climate Leadership Meeting, and AASHE's annual conference. Behind the Rebranding of Second Nature

Early in 2015 Second Nature approached Studio Science with a unique opportunity. For years they had been publishing lengthy printed annual reports, detailing the previous years activities and accomplishments. This year they wanted to try something new and create a digital, interactive annual report. Studio Science was proud to have worked closely with Second Nature to release the 2014 Second Nature Annual Report. We were then invited to take on the challenge of assisting with Second Nature’s continued evolution by redesigning their brand. Read more.

What’s In A Name?

One of the hardest things to do before you have a baby is figuring out the name. I’ve had to do it three times and each time it wasn’t easy. Do we go old-school, new-school, trendy, traditional? Maybe just start numbering? Regardless of the process leading up to it, at a certain point you have to write a name down...
Why is this relevant to Second Nature? Well, for the past nine years, Second Nature has been a supporting organization for the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC).
