Market Hassle-free During the Holidays

To succeed in real estate, an agent cannot afford to miss out on any marketing opportunities for any reason. They cannot afford to take days off from marketing, and they cannot leave social media profiles hanging in the wind- even during the holiday season. There is simply too much competition out there for homebuyers and sellers to turn to if agents are not maintaining their high level of branding and business promotion.

It is possible however to market your real estate brand while taking time to enjoy the season's festivities. Check out the following video and uncover how agents can market hassle-free, starting this Christmas.

Update your Facebook cover photo

Change your Facebook cover photo every once and a while to mix things up!

Change the cover photo to reflect the seasons or to signifiy special occasions. Perhaps use an image that features pastel colors for the summer months, then switch to darker hues for fall and winter months. You can also switch out the cover photo to advertise a special event you are a part of- whether a big open house or a charity event.

By making this effort, you are demonstrating to your fans/ followers that you are active on social media and staying relevant.  Updating your cover photo to advertise a special occasion will also help those events get more attention than they might receive otherwise.

Add context when sharing on social media

Don't just drop a link when you want to share an article or blog post on social.

Instead, take the time to make an introduction for the piece. This can be as simple as writing one or two sentences that gives some context to the link. This intro gives some justiifcation for why someone should take the time to click on it.

Remember that the same intro may not work for every social network. Craft each intro to fit the specific network and its audience.

Quote to consider for real estate blog

"Pinterest is still widely underused for bloggers. Bloggers should have a Pinterest Business account and utilize the analtytics on their pins. Rich pins are also a must for bloggers."
