Pinterest Guided Search for Real Estate Agents

Pinterest has introduced a new search feature called Guided Search. Guided Search has been developed to help users explore the social network, whether they know exactly what they want to look at, or if they are just looking around. Find how to get the most out of this feature:

What is Guided Search?

Guided Search gives users keyword suggestions when you enter a search term on Pinterest. This can help further narrow down what to look for. If a search is vague and you’re more interested in exploration and discovery than finding a specific thing, then Pinterest really helps.

Optimize your YouTube marketing videos

The number of elements that can be optimized for a marketing video is limited. So make the most of those that enable you to provide information to the prospective viewer. One of the biggest is the description.

Each network where a video is distributed, such as YouTube, will have different description lengths. Do your real estate brand a favor and keep the most important info at the top.

Remember that it’s important to make descriptions as compelling as possible. Add in “experience-enhancing” links such as subscription links or suggestions for related videos, even playlists in the first few lines of the description field.

Take advantage of Instagram descriptions

Write clear and engaging descriptions that reflect and enforce your brand's message on Instagram.

You may also want to include a Blog URL in Instagram descriptions. Remember however that users will have to copy and paste the link into a browser in order to access it.

Stay positive on Facebook

Positive content on social media will provide real estate agents with more likes and shares on Facebook than negative content.

Keep your Facebook posts upbeat and friendly. Never complain or badmouth in your posts. This is especially true about your local market real estate competitors.
