Encourage Youth to register for the Northwest First Nations Youth Wellness Gathering

The Northwest First Nations Youth Wellness Gathering is a day-long facilitated session where youth will gather in unity to discuss what is vital to their health and wellness.

Youth will explore the​​​​ Northern regional wellness priorities of primary care, mental wellness & substance use, and traditional wellness and have the opportunity to let their voices be heard.

The youth gathering is on February 22 in Smithers.

Learn how to support others on their Quitting Journeys - workshop in Fort St John

The First Nations Health Authority and QuitNow are offering a new training opportunity in the Northern Region for front-line care providers. The 'Commercial Tobacco Interventions' workshop will ​help ​front-line ​care ​providers ​build ​the ​skills ​and ​confidence ​to ​have ​difficult ​conversations ​with ​people ​about ​quitting ​smoking ​or ​chewing ​tobacco.

This free half-day training session is on Feb 9.
