SEYMOUR RESOURCE RECOVERY CENTRE

Sod turned for start of $8 million project

Construction has begun on Seymour's new permanent Resource Recovery Centre.

The new centre will provide much better access and make it easier for people to recycle items rather than them ending up in landfill.

The new centre is the first investment to form part of the future Hilldene Employment Precinct.

The $8 million project is funded by Mitchell Shire Council ($7.4 million), the Victorian Government’s Resource Recovery Infrastructure Fund ($500,000) and the Victorian Government's E-Waste Infrastructure Fund ($100,000).
