December 1, 2017

We're blaming our first ADM STEM in Defence Summit yesterday as the reason for your slightly delayed Defence Week. The successful event bore fruit in the form of stimulating discussion on the omnipresent STEM challenge facing not just Defence but the entire ecosystem of Australian industry.

In other news we speak to Nioa on their recent major munitions contract win, Nigel Pittaway checks out new technologies to assist troops operating in a contested urban environment, NSW achieves amazing results for veterans' employment and the IDF certifies Iron Dome for the maritime domain.

Finally, our deadline for Essington Lewis Awards EOIs is the 13th December - don't miss this opportunity to be recognised at the prestigious Defence+Industry Awards next year,
