Registrations open for virtual eXplore Trade Show 2022

Every year Destination Coromandel works with seven other Central North Island regional partners to organise a trade show, eXplore. This is an opportunity for trade-ready tourism business operators to meet and update New Zealand-based travel trade agents selling to international wholesalers and consumers. With the reopening of borders announced recently, we are scheduling the show as an online event this year.

eXplore Show 2022 will go virtual in April

The eXplore Show 2022 is an opportunity for international trade agencies and trade-ready tourism operators to meet. Coordinated by our international marketing collective Explore Central North Island, traditionally this B2B trade show has taken place at Eden Park Auckland. Key inbound agents have recently expressed a need to catch up with operators, and to minimise time and cost for all parties, we will organise one-on-one business appointments on a very simple online meeting platform. This is at no cost to you other than your time.

When: Thursday, April 28th 9:00-11:30 am

How will it work?

Operators register interest to attend eXplore 2022.
Trade buyers will be sent a list of participating operators and invited to select who they wish to meet.
ECNI will set up a series of 10-minute online appointments between the requested operators and the travel trade. If 2 or 20 buyers request to meet with you, we will endeavour to schedule all requests. This is not a free-flow event as we want to utilise everyone’s time effectively, so you will have a schedule to work to. It’s unlikely you will need to be available for the full morning at this stage, as the travel trade teams are still relatively small and building back up.
ECNI will run a set-up and training session so you will be comfortable with the platform and can check the technology ready for the live day.
We will send you the schedule of requested appointments by April 25 so you can do some preparation prior to the meetings.

How do I register?

You will need to prepare a short profile (about 120 words, 600 characters max) on your products and services for this registration. This will encourage buyers to request an appointment with you, so it's good to make it compelling and include any updates like new products and services.
