WRITING YOUR OWN OP-ED: 
Turn your frustrations, viewpoints, and passionate beliefs into an Op-Ed during this workshop led by Girls Write Now mentee alum and recent New York University graduate Romaissaa Benzizoune!  Romaissaa’s work has been published by the New York Times, Teen Vogue, Buzzfeed, McSweeney’s, and more. She led a column writing workshop in April 2018 for Girls Write Now mentees, and was an emcee for our 2020 Girls Write Now Graduation Gala.

Join us to learn from actress, singer, writer, producer & humanitarian, Sepideh Moafi! She's well-known for David Simon & George Pelecanos’ critically acclaimed series The Deuce on HBO & currently stars as Gigi in The L Word: Generation Q on Showtime. She starred in The Killing of Two Lovers opposite Clayne Crawford, a 2020 Sundance Film Festival Favorite that was lauded in ‘Best of’ lists for Variety, The Hollywood Reporter & The LA Times.
