Welcome to our new location, and all the same old great dances we've had in the past! The Sugar Foot Ballroom and Sugar Swing Dance Club, and our south side classes, are now located at 10506 81 Ave (the former Old Strathcona Presbyterian Church). We encourage you to come down and check it out.

For the month of April please wear clean, indoor shoes and leave all liquids in the hallway or basement so the floor seal can set in. Thank you.

The New Sugar Foot Ballroom could not have been built without the likes of those fancy footed, hard-working, mud-slinging, tip-rope walking, and all-round swell volunteers!

Registration opens April 15

The New Ballroom House Rules for April - Please and Thank you!

• For the first few weeks we have to be extra careful with the floor as the varnish sets. So what we've been telling people...
  • only clean, rubber-bottomed shoes on the new floor.
  • no drinks will be permitted in the ballroom area
• Also, just a general notice: Please be patient with us for the first few weeks of April as there are still renos that will be taking place in other parts of the building. Things aren't perfect yet but they will be soon!
   
• On that note, if you want to earn some dance passes, we could still use volunteers to help bring the space up to speed. Sepideh is coordinating reno volunteers - visit HERE TO VOLUNTEER
   
• We won't have a parking lot like we used to. The lot next to the building is NOT owned or run by Sugar Swing, and they will promptly tow vehicles of people who didn't properly pay.
   
• We now have two dance floors, upstairs and downstairs! Lots of room to move and swing out.
   
• Also, more room to put your stuff! As we finish the space there will be designated areas to stash coats/shoes/dance bags and all the other paraphernalia dancers bring with them
