SETTING NEW STANDARDS: ONTARIO’S FIRST QUALITY STANDARDS

So when Health Quality Ontario decided to launch its new Quality Standards program, it made sense to start there. Now open for comment: Newly posted drafts of our first three Quality Standards that focus on Major Depression, Schizophrenia and Behavioural Symptoms of Dementia. Comprised of a concise set of evidence-based statements, each standard articulates what high quality care looks like for a particular condition or service area.
