In this two-part workshop, learn to create your own digital game for social change, education, or entertainment, with Momo Pixel, a multidisciplinary artist, video game designer, freelance art director, musician, and the creator of Hair Nah. You’ll come up with ideas for a game, start the blueprint for what it will look like, consider your user, and create pixel art using Piskelapp.com.

Over this Salon Series, 12 incredible guest hosts across genres shared their original writing while inspiring thousands around the globe to create their own. Come celebrate with us by performing your original work! We’ll be giving YOU the Zoom floor for two minutes to deliver your favorite piece—written with us this summer or anytime. Poems, standup, songs, short stories, essays, letters, and more are welcome. We're thrilled to have Girls Write Now mentor and comedian Nikki Palumbo back as emcee, and we'll also have special performances from some of your favorite salon hosts—Morgan Jerkins, Cynthia Amoah, Emily Neuberger, and more!
