Use the power of color with your marketing

 Understand the impacts of different colors on your target market. There is a psychology of color. White can represent purity, neutrality and creativity. Red attracts attention for its energy. Blue is calming, but too much is cold. Yellow is cheerful optimism. Purple is prosperity, royalty, mystery and wisdom. Brown is reliability and stability.

 

Use these colors to match the message you hope to send in your marketing efforts. You can use profile pictures with these certain colors to reaffirm your words and call to action.

Don't: Check-in at every place you go

We've all seen the status updates of where people are and what they are doing. For special events or circumstances, this can be a nice addition to your social media. But this should not be made into a regular part of your social media campaign.

 

Followers don't want to know where you're going on a daily basis or what your dinner looks like. Some potential clients may be turned away from these public messages. Save these topics for private messages or personal profiles; keep them off your business page.
