A WORD FROM JASON REDMAN

I hope every body is well it is great to be penning a note to you again. I'd like to congratulate some teams that have come to completion on there respective projects with some outstanding efforts in the past few months.

1.    Bloc project, Newcastle,                                                                                                2.    AW Edwards project, Randwick                                                                                    3.    and the Spire project, Newcastle.

Each of these teams has individually shown great strength in safety, people skills, materials handling and also in their client satisfaction, to the point where we have had great reviews on individuals and the teams. I congratulate these teams on their wonderful efforts they have not gone unnoticed.

It is important to make all of our teams aware of the difficulties Reds Global faces as a company in this industry.  It has been noticed that some clients are moving toward NON EBA companies on projects smaller than 20 million.  This does have an impact on the way we see the future market place.  Safety and client service are vital instruments to our success!

Reds Global demonstrates a different skill level and different service levels that are unprecedented in the industry. I request that all individuals take it upon themselves to take ownership of the business. This is our point of difference, our people are our success, our key ingredient so with that in mind please be empowered to ensure you lead your projects as your own as individuals and teams,

IE “A” “C” ”T” equals A for attitude, C for Commitment, T for Team work!

I look forward to seeing you all on our training day on the 6th of November and our Christmas party on the 11th of December.

Be sure to “Charge like a Rhino”

Keep Safe.

Thank you once again.

Jason Redman.

MESSAGES

A WORD FROM DAVE BROWN

Welcome to Spring 2016.

Reds Global were fortunate enough to have Safework NSW visit our Somersby facility last month. During their visit we were able to talk with the Safework NSW inspectors and discuss the continuing challenges we face within the construction industry.

It was a very informative visit although, compliance was a major topic.  Compliance with current High Risk Work licenses and ensuring that they are current, compliance with on site documentation and continued safety checks, pertaining directly to daily, weekly and monthly checks.

Safework NSW will be spending the coming months visiting every construction site in Sydney and are also climbing tower cranes to see for themselves, the very diverse types of tower cranes in the current marketplace.

These site visits have highlighted areas that we may be able to improve and as such we ask each of you to continue being vigilant in ensuring that your on site checks are completed, your monthly services are booked and completed on time. If there any items that are in need of repair or that have been notified and not corrected as yet, they will be highlighted by Safework NSW. It is imperative that we continue to improve our service to the many sites that we are currently working on.

Reds Global asks you all that we remain focused on improving safety, thus improving productivity and keeping our clients satisfied. I am looking forward to seeing you all on the various projects in the coming weeks.

Please remember to always give an additional 10%, it always makes a massive difference to our clients and to our future works. Client satisfaction is what makes the difference.

Thank you and keep up the great work.

TEAM OF THE MONTH

THE CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE

This months team of the month goes to the guys on TC-03 currently working on the Meriton Botanica development at Sydney Olympic Park.

Ryan Hayze                                                                                                                              Jason Timbs                                                                                                                                    Tony Carter

These guys have worked tirelessly, on a difficult and constrained project to ensure client satisfaction is very high on the priority list.

The weekly site documentation has been flawless throughout the project and remains some of the best we have seen. The guys have worked safely, with no injuries, LTI’s, MTI’s or near misses.

This team has exceeded our clients expectations in every way. Keep up the great work guys, you are certainly a team that have worked hard and as such we would like to say thank you.

Enjoy your Gold Class movie vouchers guys, and thank you again for your dedication to our team!

A MESSAGE FROM RACHEL LAIDLAW

Firstly I would like to say it is an absolute pleasure to be working with all the team at Reds Global.  This will be my first time producing a Newsletter from scratch so hopefully it is received well.

I am considering starting a section called 'Team Member Updates'.  If anyone has any news they would like to share in the Newsletter please feel free to contact me either via text: 0488 049 298 or email: rachel@redsglobal.com.  This could be anything from the birth of a child or news that someone is expecting to a holiday / trip you have planned.  Even if you know of some news regarding another team member that they would be happy to share please let me know.

Christmas is just around the corner, 14 weeks to be exact.   The Christmas Party will be held on Sunday, 11 December 2016.  I have viewed the photos from last years event and from what I could see it was an amazing day.  I am hoping to organise something just as great.  It will be a family friendly day filled with lots of activities.  If anyone has any suggestions please send them to me for consideration.

I am hoping to get some feedback from you on the shuttle bus service.  I had a suggestion that will depend on the number of guests that will require the service. I was thinking we could make a pick up time of 11am from Hornsby and a return bus at the end of the day. It is important that I know who the number of team members that would consider this option to make this possible to plan.  Please let me know if this is something you would consider.

Its going to be a fantastic day.  It would be nice if I got the chance to meet the crews and put a face to the names.  I look forward to seeing everyone there.

All the best.
