MBC Welcomes PA Students 

Joining the Mary Baldwin student body this spring semester is a cohort of graduate students in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant program, the newest area of study at Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences. Families and friends joined students at the Fishersville campus Saturday for a white coat ceremony, designed to welcome new medical students into the profession.  Read more >>

 

Alumnae to Host Education Symposium 

A group of Mary Baldwin alumnae are joining forces to host an education symposium for students and recent alumni on campus February 26–27 to provide assistance to pre-service teachers at MBC that may be helpful as they enter the classroom. Read more >>

 

MFA Company Performs at Renowned Festival 

This week, Sweet Wag Shakespeare, the Mary Baldwin College Master of Fine Arts company for 2015–16, is performing at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, marking a first for MBC’s Shakespeare and Performance graduate program. Read more >> 

 

College to Host 'Beat Cancer Boot Camp' Chapter

Beginning this semester, Mary Baldwin College will host the Kellman Beat Cancer Boot Camp program, designed to help local cancer patients, cancer survivors, and those who love them stay active during cancer treatment and beyond. The effort is due, in part, to a $5,000, one-year grant from Augusta Health, which recognizes Mary Baldwin as a partner in the continuum of services provided at the hospital.  Read more >>
