month's newsletter. Notably, information on SCCA fee increases, news from the SCCA National Convention which is taking place in Las Vegas this weekend, how to bundle-register for ProSolo this year, and a link to the 2017 Solo Rulebook which was released last week. The region meeting this coming Tuesday, January 24 will also be a big one! We hope you'll join us to discuss the many agenda items listed below. Until next time — Kristen Poole

2017 SCCA Fee Revisions AnnouncedTOPEKA, Kan. (Jan. 3, 2017) – The SCCA® Board of Directors has finalized its 2017 fee structure for dues, sanctions and insurance. The BoD approved the changes during its December meeting. Of note is a small $5 increase in dues for both regular and weekend members. Lee Hill, the new SCCA Board of Directors Chairman, said the revised membership fee will go
into effect March 1, 2017. “Raising prices is never popular, but in preparing the budget for 2017 it became obvious that some increases were going to be required in order to maintain balance,” Hill said. “The slight membership increase applies to both regular and weekend memberships, and is the first increase in eight years. The decision to change dues was not taken lightly, but was felt to be the most effective and equitable avenue available.” Sanction and Insurance fees were also finalized and are available for online review here. The Sports Car Club of America®, Inc., founded in 1944, is a 67,500-member motorsports organization that incorporates all facets of autocross, rally and road racing at both club and professional levels. With headquarters in Topeka, Kansas, the SCCA annually sanctions over 2,000 events through its 115 Regions and professional subsidiary. Much of the SCCA’s activities are made possible with support from the following Official Partners: Chevrolet, the Official Truck of the SCCA; Hawk Performance, the Official Brake Products of SCCA; Mobil 1, the Official Oil of SCCA; Sunoco, the Official Fuel of SCCA; and Tire Rack, the Official Tire Retailer of SCCA. Runs: Bryan is currently running in Rallycross events. When not running in events, he is on the crew for several stage rally and road racing teams. Bryan is working towards getting into the autocross and road racing scene within the next season or two.
Drives: Currently Bryan is running a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS in PA class.
Bryan first began tinkering with cars at age 12 while helping his grandfather restore his 1941 Plymouth convertible. Bryan is now the proud owner this vehicle. Working with his grandfather fueled a love affair with all things vintage muscle. Bryan has several car projects that are in various stages of completion. In 2008 Bryan met his now wife. Her father races vintage sports. In 2000 Bryan began working in the crew for his father-in-law. This really began to peak
Bryan’s interest in all things motorsports. In October of 2013, with no competitive vehicles of his own, Adam Moore offered Bryan the chance to co-drive his rallycross car at the last Susquehanna SCCA Rallycross event of that season. After one event he was hooked. By the start of the 2014 Rallycross season Bryan owned not 1 but 2 Subarus. Bryan has ran almost every Rallycross event with both the Susquehanna and DC Chapters of SCCA since 2014. When the racing season is over Bryan spends most of his time either working on a number of different car projects or just spending quality time outdoors with his family. Bryan was very recently elected to a 3 year term as a Director for the Susquehanna SCCA. Coming from the Rallycross side of our chapter we are all looking forward to great things Bryan will be bringing to the table.
