SCHOLASTIC X GIRLS WRITE NOW

My Life With... Essay Contest

We are proud to present the final honorable mention in the My Life With... Essay Contest. These mentees' essays opened our eyes to their unique challenges and abilities, which are not always obvious to casual observers. Stay tuned for next week's Monday Memo where we will announce the winning essay—to be published in Scholastic's Choices magazine!

Prompt of the Week

From Annabel Young, Girls Write Now Fellow

We are thrilled to welcome Annabel Young to the Girls Write Now team! Annabel hails from Brooklyn, NY, and she loves to spend her time writing, beading earrings, and watching anime.
