Hello WIT@UCSF!

What a year this has been so far. Disease. Racial injustice reckoning. Fires. When we say we hope that everyone is safe and healthy, it means so much more now. We need each other’s support to get through it. Last week, WIT@UCSF member, Shannon Weber, shared her expertise, providing us framework and tips for expanding empathy and building resilience. In order to promote candid discussion, the session was not recorded, but there is a strong chance that she will provide an additional session in the near future. If you would like to check out the materials, they are available on the companion website to Shannon’s book, Show Up Hard: A Road Map for Helpers in Crisis. Thank you Shannon, and thank you to everyone who participated!

Lastly, if you want to connect with fellow members in real-time—maybe you have a question about a certain application or need a little advice—we encourage you to join WIT@UCSF’s Team in Office 365. Don’t miss out on event listings, news, and fun conversation in our community! To join, use the join code 9dbgn24. If you have never logged into Teams before, click HERE for instructions.

Power on!
