On October 1, DHM assumed full responsibility for the hospitalist service at Dignity St. Mary’s Medical Center. This is in addition to our existing, smaller service of UCSF patients transferred to St. Mary’s from the UCSF ED. We are excited to welcome 11 new full-time faculty to staff St. Mary’s, as well as our St. Mary’s administrative team of Sherry Chen and Shalonda Reliford-Titus. Big thank you to Ari Hoffman for his amazing leadership leading up to our full launch.

Congratulations to Archna Eniasivam, Ari Hoffman, Cindy Fenton, Michelle Mourad, and Sirisha Narayana who obtained the OBGYN Outstanding Resident Teaching Award for 2017-2018.
Congratulations to Adeena Khan, Katie Raffel, and Sneha Daya who received the Academy of Medical Educators Excellence in Teaching Award.
Lynnea Mills was appointed as Clinical Skills Guidance Coordinator. In this role, she will oversees two programs for core clerkship students: the Clinical Skills Guidance Program and Clinical Skills Remediation Program.
Katie Raffel is a new member of the UCSF Health Learning Health System Coaches for 2018-2020.

Sachin Shah published a study showing that current guidelines may not provide adequate guidance for prescribing anticoagulation in patients with atrial fibrillation.
