If so, your business is eligible to vote in the upcoming Local Government Elections in November 2018 for each property that it has an entitlement. To exercise your businesses’ vote, you must enrol on the Adelaide Hills Council’s Supplementary Roll. Enrolling is easy and requires you to complete either a Form 2 or 3 (as applicable to your corporate structure) on Council’s Election page for each eligible property and return it to Council by 5pm 10 August 2018. On your enrolment form you will need to nominate a Designated Person to exercise the vote of behalf of the business or organisation. The Designated Person must be a natural person who is 18 years of above and who is an officer or involved in the management of the body corporate. If your proposed Designated Person also lives in the Council area, please contact Council to discuss ways to maximise your voting impact.
