We open today with ADM's summary of proceedings from yesterday's Defence + Industry conference, which saw over 1,000 delegates in attendance to listen to speakers including Kim Gillis of CASG, Secretary of Defence Greg Moriarty, Chief Defence Scientist Dr Alex Zelinsky, senior military leadership, and business leaders from primes and SMEs. Panel discussions fielded a range of questions from the audience and yielded some surprising insights.
In other news, Deputy Editor Nigel Pittaway provides exclusive coverage of Ex Pitch Black, ASPI's latest report predicts regional demand for more patrol boats, Chemring and Quickstep partner on F-35 countermeasures, the Future Submarine yard reaches another milestone, and state and federal government announce a new raft of grant funding opportunities.
ADM is also gearing for our second STEM and Defence Summit in Canberra later this month. More details can be found here.
