Hong Kong: Student leader Joshua Wong is free

Joshua Wong, who became the face of the Umbrella Movement in 2014, was released from prison on Monday, just one day after a two million-strong march. The 22-year-old immediately declared his support for the latest movement.

Hong Kong: Jackie Chan struggles to win fans

Hong Kong-born actor Jackie Chan has come under fire for claiming he was "unaware" of the anti-extradition demonstrations. While promoting his new album in Taipei, he said of the protests: "I don't know anything about it."
