Introducing our summer campaign

You will know that we have been working on our biggest ever summer campaign designed to build back confidence in The Coromandel as the place Where Kiwis Holiday.

We are working with the teams at DDB Aotearoa and Mango PR agencies to execute a full range of activity at scale. The campaign funds were secured from MBIE by the team at Thames-Coromandel District Council and Hauraki District Council has also contributed.

A key part of our campaign design brief to the agency team was that it must be inclusive; operators, businesses, business associations and other community groups would have the opportunity to leverage the campaign to promote what they have to offer visitors.

Time now for you to get involved

We are keeping some details close to our chest for now as we don't want to spoil the reveal of the campaign. We are relying on positive PR when the concept is released, but you need some details now so that you can jump in to the first phase and then prepare your marketing and conversion ideas for later phases.

We are now looking for subjects and elements to test our campaign concept.  This could be your business/town/product.  The campaign will unfold quickly from here, so please email Laura at DDB by next week with all your ideas and what you want to do.

We have below a pack explaining all the phases of the campaign and how you can leverage it.  Some things you can execute directly via the member's portal on our site: https://thecoromandel.com/list-your-business-or-event/

There is always lots to do in an activity of this scale and we know you are eager to be involved, so please don't leave it too late.  We don't want you to miss out.
