Salamanca Pedestrian Improvements

Project update - 12 November 2020

Next week will be exciting as we will very shortly be able to see what the new pedestrian plaza area will look like once it is completed.

The team will be pouring the concrete for the plaza on Wednesday 18 November and work is planned to start early on this day.

Due to the temperature increase at this time of year, it is important to pour earlier in the day, otherwise the concrete will set too quickly. As such, the work crew will start setting up from 4 am and the work is anticipated to take approximately 12 hours to complete.

There will be minimal impact to traffic and traders during the day. However, it is likely that some noise may be heard from 5 am onwards from the concrete pump truck.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience experienced from the early start.
